what a sweet helper Ellie May is! and if she's at all like Louie (who's snuggling on my lap this very moment), she helps keep your chest and tummy warm.
quiltcat, Oh, I think she's very similar to Louie! Thanks so much for stopping by my studio blog! ( I think it can get a bit confusing for I have so many blogs now and 2 different sign on names)
What a sweet photo, Nan. Ellie May is beautiful. Today Kristy came into my sewing room when I had taken a break from sitting at my sewing machine. She looked so comfortable in my desk chair, I left her there and brought in a kitchen chair for myself!
How nice to see another artist at work, your studio looks similar to mine except my helper is a little dog. Your cat must be very well behaved to be allowed to sit on your knee when you are working!
I hope you enjoy your new art materials and look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.
I'm an artist/illustrator specializing in ink and watercolors and photography. My little studio in Maine is nestled in our garden by a babbling brook. Everyday I draw inspiration from pets, garden, birds and wildlife critters, quaint old houses, children, shells, scenes of the seaside and more. Hope to share my art and observations with you and don't forget to take a moment to notice the precious little things around you every day.
My other BLOGS are:
SHELLS AND ROSES over at
shellsandroses.blogspot.com and FURRY AND FEATHERED FRIENDS over at

Thanks for visiting!
