Inspired by Sea Birds

Late afternoon as we rode by the beach on this
rainy, sleety cold day I spotted some small
birds flying over the ocean.

They inspired this painting.

I think they are called purple sandpipers!

Treasures of the Sea

Today in Connecticut I unwrapped some of
my favorite shells that I brought with me.
Just seeing them reminds me
of the beach...and when I draw and paint them
I can feel the time when I collected them
and smell the salt air.

I discovered some old treasures in my
Dad's basement, that you can see over here!
